Such a small car. My favourite small car I owned was a Daihatsu handi with 4 speed manual. I don't know how many HP it had but it went quite well. You could skid the front tyres quite easily and on bumpy turns if you were gassing it (in 2nd) you could break traction. It's comfortable highway speed was only about 80 - 90 KPH and it had a top speed of maybe 120 (if red lining it). It had a large back window and pretty flat back on it and was really short so reverse parking was a dream. What surprised me was the actual space inside. It was 2 seater with a cargo area in the back (great shopping cart). Very simple, no air conditioning and probably weighed in at under 500 Kg Probably took about 25 - 35 seconds to get out to 100 KPH (great for slow runs around the city but lagged once you got to 70 +)

This was my first car back in the 1980s. I wonder, they turned it into a hatchback, the BIS, I think it had a water cooled engine, did the rear seats fold forward?
